Take a class in West Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale (Coral Springs) Our American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS course is designed for people with job-related duties in emergency preparedness and response. This course covers 1 and 2 person CPR Adult, Child and Infant CPR, use of an AED on both a child and adult, choking for infants to adults, airway obstruction, bag valve mask and how to use a breathing barrier or pocket mask. This includes nurses, law enforcement and EMS personnel, EMT, fire fighters, athletic trainers, dentists, CNA, business and industry response teams, lifeguards, flight attendants, and others who must take action in emergency situations.
Option 1: First Time or Renewal Class - Normal classroom setting certification

Option 2 (only done about 1 time a month): Healthcare Provider bls practical skill test - 30 minute skills practical. THESE ARE ONLY DONE A FEW TIMES A MONTH...LOOK AT SCHEDULE OR EMAIL US TO SET UP! You Must take online American Heart test first at www.onlineaha.org Click on the BLS test, Pay $17.50, print this out and bring to your scheduled bls practical skills test with us (must find on our schedule page where it says "BLS Practical Skills Test $40" or email info@cprflorida.net for other dates...do NOT just come any time that you please). One the day of your scheduled bls practical skill session, we need your passing grade certificate and $40. You will then take a 30 min. skills test (cpr, 2 person cpr, bvm, aed, choking). At the conclusion of the skills test, you receive a 2 year American Heart BLS Healthcare Provider card the same day.
